Asbestos Awareness
Despite the huge publicity asbestos regularly receives and the recent media drive by the HSE to educate and warn allied trades of the health hazards, asbestos materials can still be readily found in a poor and dangerous condition.
A Photographic gallery of recent sites/locations we have visited can be viewed below to help show the poor and dangerous condition these asbestos materials present and the potential to harm the health of unprotected personnel.
Despite Regulation 4 of The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 “duty to manage”, many of these examples had been in a fibrous condition for many years.
Thankfully the majority of these examples have now been removed or encapsulated and made safe.
