Works involved the removal of sprayed asbestos residue from high level structural steelwork within a large vacant warehouse.

The residue was the result of a bad strip from a contract some 30 years previous.

Works also involved encapsulation of AIB wall panels.

The contract was completed over a five week period involving 5 operatives finishing a week early from the program. Access to the steels was via mobile elevated work platforms supplied by Nationwide Services and all operatives underwent refresher training, being awarded with PAL licenses issued by IPAF enabling them to operate the machinery.
